Meta: Screen Smart Series

TOUR, INFLUENCER, THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

An event series across the U.S. bringing together parenting creators, clinicians and community stakeholders to have open conversations about teens and online safety, spotlighting important Meta tools that empower parents to help keep their teens safe.


Engaged parent creators to start a dialogue focused on teens and social media by offering intimate, in-person workshops to learn and hear from experts and clinicians, along with Meta leadership, about tools and resources for parents.

Created unique IRL activities and engagements designed to inspire content capture and connection while also providing “ways in” to creatively educate attendees about Meta’s 30+ online safety tools. Anchored events with fireside-style headliner conversations between Meta spokespeople and clinicians, lending credibility to the narrative. Tapped local creators and third party experts to create and share content to convey the narrative Meta wanted to tell, but was unable to through traditional communications channels. Content was also boosted by Meta through a robust paid campaign.
